A little story behind Cloud Puff ☁️

For a while, I followed the usual path of working an office job, but deep down, I realised my heart belonged somewhere else: in the kitchen, creating sweet treats and sharing them with others.

Before studying, working, and building my life in Australia, I ran a homestay and a small home bakery in Da Lat, Vietnam. Baking cakes for our lovely guests and customers brought me so much happiness. More than just making sweets, I loved the little connections and beautiful memories we created along the way.

Looking back, I realised how much those moments meant to me. They reminded me of the joy of creating something from scratch and seeing it bring a little happiness to someone’s day.

My love for cream puffs goes all the way back to my childhood. Back then, they were little treats I couldn't always afford, so whenever someone gifted me a box of cream puffs, I was over the moon. That simple joy has stayed with me ever since, and now, I hope to share that same happiness with others, one puff at a time.

I'm especially drawn to light, airy, and creamy desserts, from choux craquelin to chiffon cakes, with flavours inspired by Asian ingredients and favourites. With Cloud Puff, I hope to bring a little twist to familiar treats, combining flavours I love with a touch of nostalgia.

And so, Cloud Puff was born! ☁️

Of course, this little dream wouldn't be where it is today without Paul, my partner and biggest supporter. From the very beginning, he's been there to encourage me, believe in my dream, and remind me to keep going when things get challenging. Behind every new step, every late-night baking session, and every little milestone, there's been his constant love and support.

Starting a small business hasn't always been easy, but having someone who believes in me makes the journey feel a little less scary and a lot more meaningful. Cloud Puff may have started as my little baking dream, but it's a journey we're sharing together. 

This is just the beginning of our little journey.
